Can I convert a length of zero?
Yes. Zero equals zero in every unit. Negative values are not accepted because length is a magnitude; direction requires a different kind of measurement.
Why do some results show fewer decimal places?
Results use up to six significant digits rather than a fixed number of decimal places. That keeps small measurements visible and avoids long strings of digits for large distances.
Is the inch-to-centimeter conversion exact?
Yes. One inch is exactly 2.54 centimeters. The calculation uses that exact relationship and rounds only the displayed result.
Can I enter decimal commas or grouped numbers?
